FAQ
What profit factor should I aim for?
Above 1.5 live is respectable; above 2 is strong. Backtests above 3 usually mean overfitting rather than genius.
Profit factor vs expectancy?
Same data, different lens. Expectancy gives per-trade dollars, profit factor a scale-free ratio for comparing systems.
