Set the stop first, and the take-profit levels write themselves as multiples of that risk. 2R means winning twice what a loss would cost.

How it works
R = |entry − stop|
target at nR = entry ± n × R (direction of the trade)
Worked example
Long ETH at $3,200, stop $3,040: R is $160, so 2R sits at $3,520. Win at 2R and you can be wrong twice for every win and still break even.
FAQ
Where should I set my take profit?
At a level that gives at least 1.5-2R, placed at a real structure (resistance, prior high), not just the math level. If structure only offers 0.8R, the trade is the problem.
What does 2R actually mean?
Profit equal to twice your risk. Risk $100, take profit at 2R banks $200.
